It's been forever....

I haven't written anything for a long time. Blogging may not be my thing :) I have been busy with school and work, it seems to consume me some days. There are times where I feel like I am struggling to stay above water. 

Today it hit me like a ton of bricks though how to better survive. Pray!! I'm not foreign to prayer and I do pray daily, but sometimes I have such a hard time praying for myself. I can pray for the needs of others, but I have a hard time asking for help. This morning in church we sang Lord, I need you. It has been a song I've liked for quite some time but as I sang it today I felt like I was crying out "Lord, I need you!!! Every hour I need you!!" Because oh how I need Him!! The best part is I know He's here for me, and has been all along, just waiting for me to take His hand. 

I am so thankful to have a Heavenly Father who loves me and gave His only son so that I may live and receive His grace. He has blessed me more than I deserve.
