We had a wonderful Easter weekend filled with lots of fun with friends. Saturday morning we went to an Easter egg hunt at our church and the girls had a lot of fun. This was the first year that they were both really into hunting the eggs. It was a lot of fun for me to watch! Saturday night we went to Fayetteville and went to a church service with one of my closest friends. I liked loved the music. It was very uplifting, the service itself was pretty good as well. We then went to eat at one of my favorite restaraunts, and then headed home.
Sunday morning we went to our normal church and had a really good service. Riley told me the story of Easter on the way home and it just melted my heart to hear my little girl tell me the story of Jesus's death. We then went over to a friends for lunch and another egg hunt. When we were finished there the girl's daddy wanted to see them so we met up with him for about 15 minutes so he could wish his girls a Happy Easter. Then we came home and hunted more eggs!! My best friend and neighbor wanted to do something for the girls so she and her son filled and hid a ton of eggs for them. I think after all the egg hunts they are now professionals at it!! It was a wonderful weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it!
